Definition funny of Borg:

urbanA race of cybernetically enhanced beings who "assimilate" other races into their group, in an effort to become "the" perfect race. Were seen on Star Trek: The Next Generation, the first episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and the movie Star Trek: First Contact. They are "led" by the Borg Queen, who oversees all the operation of the Collective, but at one time, Jean-Luc Picard of the U.S.S. Enterprise was assimilated and became "Locutus of Borg", and almost helped destory the Earth in the process. A significant portion of their fleet was destroyed when the U.S.S. Voyager used some woman from the future to help them put a virus on the Borg Queen's ship.

urban"We are the Borg. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated."

urbanUsed as a synonym for The Microsoft Corporation. Windows XP SP2 is often called Windows XP Borg Edition, as it tries to assimilate all other software (or destroys it) as is the custom with the Borg. Also common with the borg, once you install 'Borg' edition, resistance is futile.

urbanAn immensely powerful civilization fo enhanced humanoids from the Delta Quadrant of the galaxy. The Borg implant themselves with cybernetic devices, giving them great technological and combat capabilities. Different Borg are equipped with different hardware for specific tasks. Each Borg is tied into a sophiticated subspace communications network, forming hte Borg Collective, a shared consciousness in which the idea of the individual was nearly a meaningless concept. The Borg exhibit a high degree of intelligence and adaptability in their tactics. most means of defense or offense against them were foudn to work only once, almost immediatly after which the Borg developed a countermeasure. The Borg operated by conquering entire worlds, assimilating the civilizations and technology theron. Individual members of assimilated races were implanted with sophisticated cybernetic implants, permitting each individual to perform a specific task as required by the collective. Thousands of worlds across the galaxy were conquered in this fashion. The first known contact between the Borg and the Federation was in 2365, when Q transported the Enterprise-D out of Federation space into the flight path of a Borg vessel heading toward the Alpha Quadrant.
