Definition funny of Polenta:
A typical northern Italian dish. It is made by boiling cornmeal to form a sort of porridge. Tradition imposes to slice it with a string, rather than a knife, and to not cut it until the smoke has reached the ceiling of the room.
Man, what are you doing? You can't cut the polenta until the smoke has reached the ceiling!
