Comments and insights on the name Azlynn:

Azlynn is a modern English name. I am pretty sure it comes from the name " Aislinn" and " Aisling" which both also mean vision and to dream, same meaning as Azlynn. Aisling is Gaelic and Irish.

Personal experiences with the name Azlynn:

My oldest daughter's name is Azlynn and she has fared well with it for almost 9 years. Generally we receive compliments of how pretty and different it is. She is definitely the only Azlynn at her school, but not in the area we live :( It's still not relatively that common though. I thought I had made it up. I had originally found the name Aislinn and was pronouncing it the way I thought it sounded, which was Azlynn. After deciding on that name and changing the spelling with the z and y and removing the i and s, I found out that Aislinn was actually pronounced "ashlynn" hence I thought I made it up. Then it was pointed out to me later on that it was the name of the Lion from Chronicles of Narnia. However that is not the case. His name is actually Aslan and there is a slight difference of pronunciation.
